Homogeneous light with modular LED lighting solutions from GALAXY® profiles

Intelligent product design and unique product compatibility are the basis for future-oriented LED lighting concepts. LED profile systems from GALAXY® profiles are modular LED lighting solutions. The individual system components can be put together with little effort, simply and quickly using a click-connect system and mounted in an object-friendly way. 

The LL2 LED LIGHT profile UP & DOWN has a standard length of 200 cm and is made of high-quality aluminium (anodised).  It consists of two components LL2 + LL2.1, which are connected with a mounting bracket. To secure the profile, we recommend attaching the fall protection Z28. This profile system is designed as an independent linear light and is mounted with a cable system. The ideal lighting for offices and shops (retail).

LED flexbands with a max. width of 5 mm can be attached on the top side of the ALU profile, and flexbands with a max. total width of 40 mm can be attached on the bottom. The large surface of the profile dissipates the resulting heat perfectly. This allows the use of high-performance LED light strips.

The wiring and the required LED technology (transformer, sequencer, etc.) are stored professionally and safely in the spacing. The white LED profile covers are made of shatterproof and flame-retardant polycarbonate (UL94 V-2 flammability classification ), connect flush on the inside and create homogeneous LED lighting conditions with high utilisation of the light output. Matching aluminum end caps close the side openings. 

Easy and quick installation

The self-adhesive LED strips are inserted in the LED profile, glued and wired. After the profile covers have been clicked flush into the profile, the flexbands can be connected to the LED technology (sequencer, transformer, etc.). The wiring as well as the required LED technology are professionally stored in the gap. Finally, the PVC caps are screwed on. The light can now be fixed to the ceiling with the wire suspension.

Recommendation

For excellent adhesion of the self-adhesive LED strips, we recommend the thorough cleaning and degreasing of the profile insides with a cleaner - see accessories.

Assembly and custom-made production (OEM)

From a minimum purchase quantity onwards, the LED profiles and plastic covers from our standard range are custom-assembled or custom-made to customer-specific length specifications up to max. 6 m total length per LED profile system.

Upon request, LED aluminium profiles by GALAXY® profiles can be produced in all RAL colours (powder coating).
