| Description | Homogenous light with modular LED light solutions by GALAXY profiles Homogenous light with modular LED light solutions by GALAXY profiles Intelligent product design and unique product compatibility are the basis for future-oriented LED lighting concepts. LED profile systems by GALAXY profiles are modular LED lighting solutions. The individual system components are assembled with little effort, simply and quickly using a click system, and are mounted without damaging the substance. The PO15 LED CONSTRUCTION profile has a particularly narrow and ultra-flat design, is designed for LED flex strips with a maximum width of 12 mm and is used universally indoors. This aluminium profile can also be used for application-specific installation. The LED profile covers opal/satin (light transmittance 65 %) are made of shatterproof and flame-retardant polycarbonate (flammability classification UL94 V-2) and create homogeneous LED lighting conditions with high utilisation of light output. This LED CONSTRUCTION profile can be fitted with three different plastic covers - flat, high or round cover. All three covers enclose the surface-mounted profile on the open side. This means that only the LED light strip is visible. With the high and round covers, the light of the LED strips shines in three directions (also laterally). The inner height (distance between LED chips and cover) is adjusted for a continuous light line - no light points! The PO15 LED UP profile is ultra-flat and thus fits very well into the surrounding conditions. Easy and quick installation The self-adhesive LED strips are inserted into the centre of the LED profile along the groove, glued in place, wired (plastic end caps with cable feed-through available) and connected to the LED lighting and control technology (LED transformer, LED sequencer, etc.). The LED profile can be screwed or glued directly to the support object or the building structure. LED light strips can also be attached with adhesive tape on both sides for smooth surfaces. Finally, the corresponding LED profile covers made of polycarbonate are clicked in flush. Recommendation: For excellent adhesion of the self-adhesive LED strips, we recommend thorough cleaning and degreasing of the profile insides with an acetone cleaner. Use in wet rooms and outdoors Use in wet rooms or outdoors is only possible in sealed form. Silicone, which is applied to the joints for sealing, offers special protection against moisture and water. Absolute waterproofing of LED profile systems is achieved by casting with Wepuran casting resin based on polyurethane resin (PUR). Important: When installing LED profile systems in wet rooms and outdoors, it is imperative to use only LED flex strips with the appropriate protection class!
