The TBP2 LED drywall profile is supplied as standard in a length of 200 cm and is made of high-quality aluminium (anodised). It is designed for LED strips with a max. width of 11 mm and is ideal for the professional realisation of cove lighting solutions. The profile can be filled and plastered and can be integrated directly into the frame construction. The plasterboards close flush with the profile.
For a homogeneous and glare-free light line, the flat standard profile cover made of unbreakable and flame-retardant polycarbonate (flammability classification UL94 V-2 - opal/satinised - light transmittance 65 %) is clicked into the ALU profile. The cover is also available in 600 cm.

The result is sustainable indirect LED lighting!

Easy and quick installation
The self-adhesive LED stripe is inserted into the LED profile, glued and wired. After the profile cover has been clicked firmly into the profile, the open ends are sealed with silicone. Then the LED profile is filled with tile adhesive and finally connected to the LED lighting and control technology (LED transformer, LED sequencer, etc.).

Recommendation
For excellent adhesion of the self-adhesive LED strips, we recommend thorough cleaning and degreasing of the inside of the profile with a cleaner - see accessories.

Important note:
Use in wet rooms or outdoors is only possible in sealed form. Silicone, which is applied to the joints for sealing, offers special protection against moisture and water. Absolute waterproofing of LED profile systems is achieved by sealing with polyurethane resin-based Wepuran casting resin (PUR).

When choosing the LED flex strip, pay attention to the protection class specified by the manufacturer (at least IP65).

Fabrication and serial production (OEM)
From a minimum order quantity, the LED profiles and plastic covers from our standard range are fabricated to size or according to customer-specific length specifications up to a maximum of 6 m total length. 6 m total length per LED profile system.

On request, GALAXY profiles can produce LED aluminium profiles in all RAL colours (powder coating).
