Homogeneous light with modular LED lighting solutions from GALAXY profiles

Intelligent product design and unique product compatibility are the basis for future-oriented LED lighting concepts. LED profile systems from GALAXY profiles are modular LED lighting solutions. The individual system components are assembled with little effort, simply and quickly using a click system, and are mounted in a way that protects the substance.

Designed for tile concepts!
This FP3 LED TILE profile top end is available in standard lengths of 200 cm and 250 cm and is designed for LED flex strips with a maximum width of 8 mm.

This profile system has a large-surface wing on one side that can be filled with tile adhesive, thus integrating the aluminium profile into the tile concept. The FP3 LED TILE profile forms the luminous and finishing touch to a tiled surface.

The LED profile covers (opal/satin - light transmission 65 % - also available in 600 cm | transparent : light transmission 85 % and black/matt - light transmission 25 %) are made of shatterproof and flame-retardant polycarbonate (UL94V-2 flammability classification), close flush and create homogeneous LED lighting conditions with high utilisation of light output.

Easy and quick installation
The self-adhesive LED stripe is inserted into the LED profile, glued and wired. After the profile cover has been clicked flush into the profile, the open ends are sealed with silicone. Afterwards, the LED profile is filled with tile adhesive and finally connected to the LED lighting and control technology (LED transformer, LED sequencer, etc.).

Recommendation
For excellent adhesion of the self-adhesive LED strips, we recommend thorough cleaning and degreasing of the profile insides with a cleaner - see accessories.

Important note:
Use in wet rooms or outdoors is only possible in sealed form. Silicone, which is applied to the joints for sealing, offers special protection against moisture and water. Absolute waterproofness is achieved with LED profile systems by casting with polyurethane resin-based Wepuran casting resin (PUR).

When choosing the LED flex strip, pay attention to the protection class specified by the manufacturer (at least IP65).

Made-to-measure and standard special production (OEM)
From a corresponding minimum order quantity, the LED profiles and plastic covers from our standard range are made-to-measure or according to customer-specific length specifications up to max. 6 m total length per LED profile system.

On request, GALAXY profiles can produce LED aluminium profiles in all RAL colours (powder coating).
